White-Throated Clawed Gecko
Gonatodes albogularis
The white-throated clawed gecko occurs in warm parts of Central America, northern South America and the Caribbean. Males have a yellow to orange head and pale throat above a grey-blue body, while females are brown and patterned. Specialist keepers breed this small, mainly daytime gecko.
Housing provides bark and branches, ground shelters, modest moisture and ventilation that permits drying, with escape routes carefully sealed. Tiny insects are its food. It lays eggs and has clawed toes without adhesive pads, unlike many other climbing geckos.
