Hoplisoma sterbai
Sterba's cory is a freshwater armored catfish with pale spots on a darker head and body and orange pectoral fins. Keep a group on smooth sand or other non-abrasive substrate, with clean oxygenated water and sinking foods that actually reach the fish. It is not sustained by leftover food alone. Breeding adults attach eggs to surfaces; eggs and fry need protection and carefully maintained water quality.
