Kim Howell's Dwarf Gecko
Lygodactylus kimhowelli
Kim Howell's dwarf gecko is a small day-active gecko from coastal Tanzania. The yellow head and striped gray to bluish body give rise to its alternative name, zebra dwarf gecko. It climbs vegetation and is kept and bred in specialist dwarf-gecko collections. A secure planted vertical enclosure uses fine branches, bright lighting with UVB, warm basking opportunities and cooler cover, with drinking droplets and small insect food.
Females lay eggs in sheltered sites such as hollow stems. It differs from the spotted, yellow-tailed Cameroon dwarf gecko.
