Merauke is a locality form of the Indonesian blue-tongued skink, Tiliqua gigas, traditionally associated with evanescens and southern New Guinea. It is not a genetic mutation. Keep documented locality and breeder provenance; the Merauke name should not be used interchangeably with Irian Jaya.
