Crossbred

A crossbred green-cheeked conure is a Pyrrhura conure with mixed or uncertain ancestry involving green-cheeked lines, related Pyrrhura species, or color-mutation backgrounds. Green-cheeked conures are small South American parrots, usually active, social, and expressive in captivity. Crossbred birds may look much like normal green-cheeked conures, or they may carry combinations of cinnamon, turquoise, yellow-sided, pied, or other captive traits.

For pet homes, behavior, health, and socialization matter more than a tidy breed label. These birds need daily interaction, safe flight or exercise space, chewable enrichment, and a balanced diet beyond seed. Breeders should be transparent about crossbred ancestry because hybrid or mixed-line birds do not belong in pure species or carefully planned mutation projects. Buyers should ask for hatch date, parent information, weaning history, and any known species or color-line background.

Colors: Cinnamon, Normal Green, Pied, Turquoise, Yellow-Sided
