Symmetrical Gecko
Eurydactylodes symmetricus
The symmetrical gecko is a small, egg-laying New Caledonian chameleon gecko. Its large, symmetrically arranged head scales, a cross-shaped patch of raised neck tubercles and a continuous mouth-to-ear slit distinguish it from Eurydactylodes occidentalis. It appears in specialist breeding collections, where fine branches, leafy retreats and a secure planted enclosure support its climbing lifestyle.
Humidity, airflow and temperature require careful control. Use scientific identity and lineage rather than a generic chameleon-gecko label when keeping records.
