Electric Blue Gecko
Lygodactylus williamsi
The electric blue gecko is a small, diurnal, egg-laying gecko native to a restricted forest area in Tanzania. Dominant adult males are vivid blue; females and juveniles are typically greenish or bronze, so color alone is an unreliable sexing method. Provide an escape-proof planted enclosure with climbing perches, bright light, appropriate UVB and controlled basking warmth. Feed tiny supplemented insects and suitable fruit-based food; females attach their eggs to surfaces.
