Unknown Morph
An unknown morph African bullfrog is a Pyxicephalus adspersus whose color line or morph background has not been recorded. The animal may look like a normal wild-type frog or may carry traits such as yellow, albino, or high contrast ancestry that are not obvious at the time of listing. Unknown is most useful when the frog's source, parents, or hatchling history are unavailable.
Practical care remains the same as for any African bullfrog. The animal needs warmth, damp substrate deep enough for burrowing behavior, a clean water area, and feeding that matches its age and body condition. For breeding, an unknown morph should be described honestly so buyers do not assume predictable offspring colors. Good photographs, sex notes, and growth records can still make the animal easier to manage and place.
