Unclassified Morph
An unclassified morph African bullfrog is an animal whose appearance has been observed but not assigned to a named color category. It may be normal wild type, yellow-leaning, high contrast, albino-influenced, or somewhere between those labels. For Pyxicephalus adspersus, morph names are often practical hobby terms rather than strict registry categories, so unclassified is a cautious description when color identity is unclear.
Care and placement should not depend on the morph label. African bullfrogs need strong escape-proof housing, warm humid conditions, clean soaking water, and careful feeding to prevent obesity. Since adults can be powerful and may bite during feeding, handling is usually limited. Breeders or sellers should photograph the animal under natural light and keep parentage notes when possible, allowing future owners to update the classification if traits become clearer.
