About Elite Boerboels

Elite Boerboels is a South African Boerboel breeder based just outside Lisbon, Portugal, founded by Rui Navarro and Sandra Freitas. For over 9 years we have bred Boerboels that are athletic, stable and clear-headed, true to the original working type and able to live with families while remaining real guardians. Our dogs are raised and worked daily in real environments by our team, and we place puppies with families in more than 30 countries, mostly in the USA, UK, Europe and Canada. Rui Navarro is also the founder of TYR Protection Dogs and the author of The Boerboel Bible.
