Wright's Packing Co.

Wright's Packing Co. offers slaughter and processing services in Fombell, Pennsylvania, serving farms throughout the western part of the state near Pittsburgh.

The facility handles cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs, giving small and mid-sized producers a local option for both slaughter and custom processing. This kind of full-service setup can matter to farmers who want their animals harvested and cut close to home rather than trucked long distances, which tends to reduce stress on livestock and simplify logistics around scheduling.

For those raising a mixed herd or flock, having one processor capable of working across multiple species can streamline planning at harvest time. Producers considering Wright's Packing Co. for their processing needs may want to reach out directly to confirm current capacity, turnaround times, and any specific cutting or packaging preferences before bringing animals in.
