WJ Wainright and Son, Inc

WJ Wainright and Son, Inc provides slaughter and processing services in Nahunta, Georgia, serving the southeast Georgia region near Brunswick. The facility works with cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs, offering a straightforward option for farmers and producers who need livestock processed close to home.

Their work supports small and mid-sized operations throughout the area, from cattle ranchers finishing out a herd to backyard goat and sheep keepers preparing animals for market or personal use. Pig processing rounds out their offerings, making them a practical stop for mixed-species farms that would rather not haul animals across multiple counties to different processors.

For those raising livestock in Brantley County and the surrounding communities, having a local processor cuts down on travel stress for animals and time away from the farm. WJ Wainright and Son fits into that everyday rhythm of rural Georgia agriculture, where processing needs are seasonal but steady, and proximity matters as much as capability.
