Upper Iowa Beef LLC

Upper Iowa Beef LLC provides slaughter and processing services in Lime Springs, Iowa, serving northeast Iowa farms not far from Decorah. The facility works with cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs, handling both harvest and processing for producers who need reliable turnaround on their livestock.

Farmers and small-scale operations in the area often rely on this kind of local processing to keep meat production close to home, cutting down on transport stress for animals and travel time for owners. Whether it's a single hog from a backyard herd or a larger cattle lot ready for market, the shop is set up to manage varying volumes throughout the season.

For families raising livestock for personal consumption or farmers supplying local markets, having a processor nearby in Howard County simplifies planning around harvest schedules. Upper Iowa Beef fits into that regional network of agricultural support that keeps meat processing accessible for producers across this part of the state.
