Locust Point Farms, LLC

Locust Point Farms, LLC provides poultry processing services in Elkton, Maryland, serving the Cecil County region near Wilmington, Delaware. The operation handles slaughter and processing for chickens, turkeys, and ducks, giving local flock owners a nearby option for bringing birds from farm to table.

Small-scale poultry keepers, homesteaders, and farms raising mixed flocks often need reliable processing support once birds reach maturity. Locust Point Farms fills that need for the surrounding area, working with multiple species rather than specializing in just one type of bird, which suits diversified farms raising chickens alongside turkeys or ducks.

For producers in the Elkton area looking to avoid long drives to processing facilities, having this service within the region simplifies planning around harvest timing and flock rotation. Farms of varying sizes, from backyard operations to larger poultry ventures, may find this kind of localized processing useful for managing their production cycles throughout the season.
