Kadejan, Inc.

Kadejan, Inc. provides poultry processing services in Glenwood, Minnesota, serving farms throughout the west-central region near Alexandria. The company handles slaughter and processing for chicken, turkey, and duck, giving small and mid-sized producers a local option for turning live birds into market-ready product.

Kadejan works with growers who raise poultry for direct sale, retail accounts, or farm-to-table distribution, offering the kind of processing infrastructure that independent farms often can't build on their own. Their setup is geared toward handling multiple species, which makes them a practical fit for diversified poultry operations rather than single-species outfits.

For farmers in the Glenwood area raising chickens, turkeys, or ducks, having a processor nearby simplifies logistics and shortens the distance between farm and finished product. Kadejan's role in the regional poultry supply chain reflects the kind of specialized service that keeps smaller producers competitive without requiring them to invest in their own processing facilities.
