Iowa Premium, LLC

Iowa Premium, LLC provides livestock slaughter and processing services in Tama, Iowa, serving farms and producers throughout the central Iowa region near Cedar Rapids.

The facility handles cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs, offering both slaughter and processing services under one roof. This kind of full-service setup is useful for operations that need to move animals through the entire chain without coordinating multiple stops, whether that's a cattle producer finishing out a herd or a smaller farm bringing in a mixed group of livestock.

Facilities like this typically play a role in the regional meat supply chain, supporting everything from commercial cattle operations to smaller diversified farms raising sheep, goats, and pigs. For producers in the Tama area and surrounding counties, having slaughter and processing available locally can simplify logistics considerably. Details on scheduling, capacity, and specific service terms are best confirmed directly with the facility.
