Huettl's Locker & Dressing Plant

Huettl's Locker & Dressing Plant provides slaughter and processing services in Lake City, Minnesota, serving the broader southeastern Minnesota region near Rochester. The facility works with cattle, sheep, goat, and pig, handling animals from local farms and small producers who need reliable processing close to home.

Their work covers the full path from slaughter through final processing, making them a practical option for farmers raising livestock for personal use, direct sale, or smaller commercial operations. This kind of full-service processing is especially useful for producers who want to keep their animals close to the source rather than trucking them long distances.

For farms in the Lake City area raising a mix of livestock, having a locker plant that handles multiple species under one roof simplifies planning around harvest time. Whether working with a single hog or a small herd of cattle, producers in the region rely on facilities like this to turn raised animals into usable product without added travel or delay.
