Gibson's Custom Butchering, LLC

Gibson's Custom Butchering, LLC offers slaughter and processing services in Hughesville, Pennsylvania, serving farms throughout the Lycoming County region near Williamsport.

The operation handles cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs, giving local farmers a single stop for both slaughter and custom processing. This kind of combined service matters to small and mid-sized producers who need animals broken down into cuts ready for sale, personal use, or freezer storage without hauling livestock to multiple facilities.

For farmers raising a few head of cattle alongside a flock of sheep or a handful of hogs, having one processor familiar with multiple species simplifies planning around harvest schedules. Custom butchering shops like this one often work closely with growers to accommodate specific cutting instructions, seasonal demand, and the practical realities of managing livestock through the final stage of production on a working farm in central Pennsylvania.
