Elkhorn Valley Packing LLC

Elkhorn Valley Packing LLC provides slaughter and processing services in Wellington, Kansas, serving south-central Kansas farms not far from Wichita. The facility handles cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs, giving area producers a local option for both custom and standard processing work.

For farmers and small-scale ranchers, having a processor nearby cuts down on transport stress for livestock and simplifies scheduling around harvest or market timing. Whether it's a single hog from a backyard operation or a run of cattle from a larger herd, the shop is set up to handle varying volumes and species without requiring producers to travel far from home.

Processing needs shift throughout the year with breeding cycles, market weights, and seasonal demand, and having a facility rooted in the Wellington area gives regional livestock owners one more resource to factor into their planning. Producers considering Elkhorn Valley Packing should reach out directly to confirm current capacity, turnaround times, and specific service details for their operation.
