Big Sky Processing, LLC

Big Sky Processing, LLC provides slaughter and processing services in Moore, Montana, serving central Montana producers within reach of nearby Lewistown.

The facility handles cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs, offering both slaughter and full processing under one roof. This kind of setup tends to suit small farms, ranchers finishing livestock for direct sale, and families looking to fill a freezer with locally raised meat. Working with multiple species also means producers running mixed operations do not have to coordinate with separate facilities for each type of animal.

Montana's ranching country relies on processors who understand the rhythms of calving, lambing, and market timing, and a local operation cuts down on travel time and stress on animals headed to slaughter. For anyone raising livestock in the Moore area, having processing services close to home simplifies planning around harvest season and helps keep meat production tied to the region it comes from.
