Big Dog Meats LLC

Big Dog Meats LLC provides livestock and poultry processing services in West Haven, Connecticut, serving farms throughout the greater New Haven area.

The facility handles slaughter and processing for cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs, along with poultry processing for chicken, turkey, and duck. This range allows small and mid-sized farms to bring multiple species to a single processor rather than coordinating separate drop-offs across different facilities. Whether it's a seasonal batch of broilers or a few head of cattle ready for market, the shop is set up to handle varied volume and species on the same site.

For farmers raising a mix of animals, having one processor familiar with both red meat and poultry can simplify planning around harvest schedules. Big Dog Meats LLC works with producers throughout the region who need dependable, straightforward processing support as part of their farm-to-table operations, from smaller backyard flocks to larger herd and flock management needs.
