Ellen F. Feld has bred miniature donkey for over a decade and holds memberships in regional equine associations while ensuring routine health evaluations. The farm’s facilities include climate-controlled stalls, a dedicated foaling barn, and secure fencing to ensure safety year-round. Willow Bend selects breeding pairs based on health and temperament, guided by genetic screening when available.

Each foal grows up in a mixed horse-and-donkey pasture with daily human interaction to support socialization and gentle handling.
