The Sebastopol goose program centers on preserving correct breed type, feather quality, and a docile temperament. To build a genetically diverse breeding flock, birds have been sourced from breeders in Michigan, Kentucky, and New Jersey over the years. The flock is entirely white, selected with exhibition candidates in mind, and birds showing excessive aggression are not kept in the breeding program regardless of season.

Health testing goes beyond what most small flocks in the state complete. The farm holds NPIP/AI clean status and has additionally tested its entire breeder flock for Mycoplasma Gallisepticum and Mycoplasma Synoviae through Rollins Lab, returning clean results. Those looking for Sebastopol geese in North Carolina will also find heritage chicken breeds here, including Black Australorps, Silver Laced Wyandottes, Blue Laced Wyandottes, and Blue Birchen Marans, all raised on pasture under the same regenerative farming model.
