Timberview Farm Reindeer

Timberview Farm Reindeer raises reindeer in Springfield, Oregon, in the Willamette Valley near Eugene. The farm is operated by Cindy Murdoch, who has been raising the herd for more than two decades.

As Oregon's only licensed reindeer farm, Timberview maintains a bio-safe facility, following strict protocols to prevent cross-contamination between the reindeer and other species, including cattle, horses, sheep, goats, and domestic animals. Those precautions apply both on the property and whenever animals travel off-site.

The herd is raised year-round on the farm's grounds east of Springfield in the Mohawk Valley. Each season, the reindeer for sale in Oregon draw interest from those looking for live animals, and the farm is a listed member of the Reindeer Farmers Association. Beyond the home property, the herd travels throughout Oregon annually, giving communities across the state the opportunity to see the animals up close.
