Teton Llamas
Teton Llamas is a llama breeder in Teton, ID, Teton County and the Snake River Valley near Idaho Falls. Wayne King has been working with llamas for several years and holds membership in the Alpaca and Llama Association.
The farm maintains separate pastures for crias and adults, each with access to shelters and fresh water, and every young llama receives daily socialization and basic halter training. Animals follow a diet of local grass hay supplemented with minerals, and regular veterinary screenings cover vaccinations, dental care, and hoof trims.
Several herd members have participated in regional pack trials and community therapy visits, reflecting the farm’s emphasis on steady temperament and practical skills. Wayne established the operation on a restored homestead, honoring local agricultural traditions and offering small-scale breeding focused on health and temperament. A dedicated quarantine barn helps introduce new arrivals under controlled conditions, supporting herd well-being from the start.
