Tailwindfarm breeds Abyssinian cats in Vallejo, CA, Solano County and the Bay Area near San Francisco. Tamara Shevtchenko has spent more than 12 years refining her breeding program, documenting pedigrees meticulously, and holds active memberships in major feline registries.

Each kitten undergoes thorough health screenings, including genetic tests to screen for common conditions in Abyssinian lines such as pyruvate kinase deficiency. Kittens grow up in a home environment where they are gently handled from birth and exposed to children, other pets and day-to-day household routines.
