The farm has been in the family since 1973 and has been raising and selling livestock since 2000, making it a long-standing small family operation in the region. Beyond donkeys, the farm also raises Katahdin meat sheep and Sebastopol geese, rounding out a diverse working farm rooted in the Western North Carolina foothills.
