Reigningcats

Reigningcats is a small Maine coon cattery on the West Coast of Florida, operated by Karon Hansberger. The cattery has been registered and active since December 1999, making it one of the longer-running Maine coon programs in the region, serving families throughout the Tampa Bay area and broader Gulf Coast.

Reigningcats holds registrations with CFA, ACFA, and TICA, and many of its cats are multi-registered across those associations. The program emphasizes breeding to the breed standard, selecting cats from established cattery lines with documented genetic testing. Kittens are raised as household cats in a clean, non-smoking home environment and placed only in indoor, non-declawing homes.

The cattery actively participates in CFA, ACFA, and TICA shows, and a number of its cats have earned Grand Champion, Champion, Regional Winner, and Inter-American titles. Hansberger also participates in several cat clubs and supports rescue events. In addition to Maine coons, the cattery breeds Siberian cats. Each kitten receives a first FVRCP vaccine, deworming treatment, fecal test, and a veterinary examination before going to a new home.
