About Playful Papillons

Playful Papillons, run by Maryann Wik, breeds papillons a rural community in California. The program breeds to AKC standards with a focus on all three areas of the sport: performance, companionship, and the conformation show ring.

Maryann holds membership in the Papillon Club of America, the AKC, and the Lost Coast Kennel Club. The program participates in the AKC Bred with H.E.A.R.T. program and conducts health testing that includes PRA1 screening, OFA patella and cardiac evaluations, and DNA profiling on file with the AKC. Breeding stock includes dogs with international and European championship titles, reflecting a lineage that reaches beyond domestic show competition.
