Mainecoonection, a Maine coon breeder in Bismarck, North Dakota, serves Burleigh County and the Great Plains near Fargo. April Bishop has bred Maine coon cats for more than seven years and maintains membership in the Cat Fanciers’ Association and The International Cat Association.

All kittens complete a health protocol including vaccinations, deworming and vet exams before leaving home. They grow up indoors with daily handling, gentle play and exposure to household routines.

Many find their laid-back nature and soft coat a comfort at home, and adult cats often greet visitors at feeding time. Mainecoonection reflects a love for the breed that began on April’s family farm and continues in every new litter. Each kitten receives early litter training and gentle introduction to grooming to build confidence and ease transitions. Indoor spaces feature safety gates, soft bedding and climbing perches so cats can explore at their own pace.
