The operation is run by Julie Jones, whose program got its start roughly 15 years ago after she and her partner fell in love with a friend's minis and acquired their first jack and jennet from Meadowood Farms.

The herd spans a range of sizes, colors, and ages, with an emphasis on correct conformation, proven bloodlines, and temperament. Foals are handled daily from an early age, halter broke, and introduced to trail obstacles before leaving the farm.
