IRONSWISS

IRONSWISS is a gerbil breeder in Saint Louis, Missouri. It has been providing healthy, friendly gerbils for more than ten years and holds membership with the American Gerbil Society, following health-screening guidelines to support genetic diversity and minimize hereditary risks.

Gerbils are raised in a climate-controlled, enriched environment that emphasizes frequent handling and supervised play to promote confident, friendly companions. IRONSWISS operates out of eastern Missouri near St. Louis and works closely with local veterinarians to monitor each litter from weaning through adoption.

As a regular exhibitor at regional small pet shows, IRONSWISS has shared breeding insights with peers and continues to refine husbandry techniques on the family’s longtime hobby farm. Pups are weaned at around four weeks and each new owner receives a care guide and a sample of the bedding used to ensure a smooth transition. Its attention to clean living spaces and early socialization has earned positive feedback from several generations of gerbil owners.
