Hawaiiwaterdogs, Bernese mountain dog and Portuguese water dog, Waianae, HI, Oahu near Honolulu. Hawaiiwaterdogs is led by Andrea Porterfield and has been breeding quality companions for more than a decade with memberships in national kennel clubs and routine health testing for hips, elbows and cardiac health. Puppies are socialized from birth in a home environment and enjoy daily outdoor time on coastal acreage with supervised beach introductions. Many of their dogs have gone on to succeed in therapy settings and earn ribbons in local conformation events.

Their breeding philosophy focuses on sound structure, steady temperament and ongoing support for new families. Each puppy receives a health check from a local veterinarian, age appropriate vaccinations, and guidance for proper feeding and social development. Andrea maintains long term relationships with owners and offers advice on training and care as the dogs grow.
