Harford Llama Farm
Harford Llama Farm raises llamas in the Northern California foothills, in the Sonora area of the Sierra Nevada foothills, about an hour and a half north of Sacramento. Greg Harford operates the farm, which has grown its herd notably since its early days — the program expanded from just two llamas to a herd of around 30 in its first few years.
The farm has produced champion and grand champion animals, a reflection of the quality focus behind their llama breeding program. Those looking for llamas for sale in California will find both male and female animals available, including young crias born in spring and fall each year. Visitors are welcomed to the property to meet the herd firsthand.
