Fraser's Felines has been raising Maine coon cats in Marshall, Michigan since Kathleen Fraser first began breeding in 1987, originally in the Detroit suburb of Dearborn before relocating to Marshall in 2022. The cattery sits in southwest Michigan's Calhoun County, roughly an hour east of Kalamazoo.

Kathleen holds dual registry membership with both the Cat Fanciers' Association and The International Cat Association, and the cattery carries CFA Cattery of Excellence status. Her breeding program draws on European bloodlines, with lines traced to Norway and Russia, and she aims to meet the breed standards set by both organizations.

Adult cats in the program are health tested for the five known Maine coon genetic disorders as well as dozens of additional potential disorders, FIV, FeLV, and more. Kittens leave the cattery fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed or neutered.
