Foster Hill Farm

Foster Hill Farm, Miniature donkey, Stafford Springs, CT, Tolland County and the Connecticut River Valley near Hartford. Kim Milikowski follows breed club guidelines and ensures regular health screenings and routine hoof care for each donkey.

The farm maintains pasture-based living with varied grazing, shaded shelters, and daily handling to promote friendly temperaments. Supplemental grain and mineral mixes are tailored to each age group, and spacious barns offer secure bedding during colder months.

Gently sloping fenced pastures are rotated to support fresh forage and safe exercise, with clean water available at all times. Kim provides ongoing guidance on feeding, shelter and training for every owner, and many appreciate how calmly these donkeys adapt to family environments. Herds remain small and stable to allow each donkey to form strong social bonds, and seasonal shelter protects against sun and rain. Periodically, the farm hosts local school groups for informal visits, offering children supervised hands-on experience.
