Foster - FOS

Foster - FOS, savanna goats in eastern South Dakota near Sioux Falls, are managed by Jesse and Denise Foster. For more than ten years they have developed a herd meeting American Goat Society standards, supported by regular health screenings for parasites, hoof soundness and body condition. Kidding season runs from late winter into spring, with doe comfort, proper nutrition and kid care held as priorities.

The goats graze on rotational pastures with run-in shelters, and bedding is refreshed daily to maintain dry, hygienic living spaces. Daily hands-on handling and group turnout foster calm temperaments and early socialization. Meticulous records track lineage, kidding histories and weight gains to inform breeding selections.
