Everpaw raises exotic shorthair cats in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where owner Elizabeth Aseltine operates a small in-home cattery on the Twin Cities side of the upper Midwest. The program also produces a selection of Persians alongside the exotic shorthairs.

Health testing is a central part of the operation. All breeding cats are DNA tested and carry confirmed negative status for PKD, FIV, and FeLV, with bloodlines that trace free of those diseases as well. Persian and imported lines receive additional cardiac screening via HCM scans performed by a licensed veterinary cardiologist. Each kitten leaves fully vetted, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped.

Everpaw breeds to CFA, ACFA, and TICA standards, and Elizabeth holds a voting membership on the CFA Exotic Breed Committee. The cats are shown regularly at CFA, TICA, and ACFA approved shows, with the show program guiding selection toward structure and breed type rather than volume. Each queen is limited to one litter per year, keeping the cattery small and allowing hands-on attention for every kitten.
