Emeraldexotics, run by Janda Keenan, raises chausie kittens in Newcastle, Washington, in the greater Seattle area. The cattery also works with pixiebobs and other exotic hybrid breeds, making it one of the few sources for chausie kittens in Washington state.

The program is registered with both TICA and CFA, and all breeding cats are tested and vaccinated against standard diseases and genetic risk factors. While the cattery does not participate in cat shows, some of its cats come from championship lines, and the program upholds TICA breed standards for chausies and pixiebobs alike.

Kittens are raised in a family home environment and socialized before going to new homes. The cattery feeds a raw diet and emphasizes nutrition as part of its overall approach to cat health. Visits to the cattery are by appointment.
