Dutch Hollow Acres
Dutch Hollow Acres, run by Lindsay LaBella in Avon, New York, raised myotonic goats — commonly known as fainting goats — on a small family farm in the Genesee Valley region, about 30 miles south of Rochester. The farm, established in 2006, shifted its focus to myotonic goats after previously working with alpacas, with the herd maintained as 5-panel tested negative. Lindsay prioritized placing goats as pets and breeding stock, drawn to the breed's compact size and distinctive myotonic trait. Dutch Hollow Acres has since retired its goat breeding program.
