Chemicoons

Chemicoons is a Maine coon cattery in Illinois near Chicago. Liz Brown has been breeding Maine coons for over a decade and is registered with the Cat Fanciers’ Association and The International Cat Association. All cats receive genetic health screenings for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and hip dysplasia and are evaluated by a veterinarian before placement.

Kittens grow up underfoot in a family home with daily socialization alongside children and other pets. The cattery building opens onto a secure indoor play area where cats enjoy climbing structures and supervised outdoor enclosures.

Litter trained and accustomed to grooming, each kitten leaves with a starter kit including nutritional guidelines and mementos from its first weeks at Chemicoons. Recent feedback notes their gentle temperament and striking ear tufts that reflect careful attention to breed standards.
