Bearmary

Bearmary is a home-based cattery in Brantford, Ontario, focused on British shorthair and British longhair cats. Run by Yanrui Dong, the cattery is registered with both TICA and WCF, and its breeding cats carry European bloodlines selected for bone structure, coat quality, and temperament.

Health is a priority for the program, and the cattery's website describes its screening practices. Kittens receive FVRCP and rabies vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, and spay or neuter surgery before going to their new homes. Kittens are also litter-box trained and accustomed to routine handling such as nail trims and grooming before placement.

Bearmary operates as a small, home-based program, with kittens raised in a family environment alongside regular daily human interaction. The cattery participates in cat shows to demonstrate breed quality and maintains records with regular photo and video updates throughout each kitten's early development. For those searching for British shorthair kittens in Ontario or across Canada, the cattery ships to buyers in major cities including Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal, as well as to the United States.
