Abra-Cadabra Alpacas raises alpacas on the high plains of Colorado, about 45 miles southeast of Denver near the small community of Kiowa. Tawny and Talon Bott settled in Colorado after years of moving with the armed forces, and the farm became their foundation for a new lifestyle centered on fiber animals.

The operation sits at roughly 6,500 feet elevation and shares its grounds with llamas kept for herd guarding alongside livestock guard dogs. Tawny has developed a hands-on approach to the fiber side of the program, learning to shear, card, spin, felt, and weave, and she regularly teaches classes on fiber arts and farm management. The farm also participates in fiber, wool, and alpaca shows as a vendor.
