A&B Mini Ranch

A&B Mini Ranch raises miniature Mediterranean donkeys in Estill Springs, Tennessee, in Franklin County roughly an hour southeast of Nashville. Amanda Stuart has been raising and selling miniature donkeys for sale in Tennessee for more than ten years, with a goal from the start of hand-selecting animals that meet a range of needs, from breeding-quality stock and show animals to everyday companions.

Brood jennets are chosen with particular care, with selection criteria that include conformation, pedigree, bloodline, temperament, color, and genetic diversity. The ranch travels across the country to personally inspect prospective jennets before bringing them into the program, and herd sires are matched to complement those qualities. All donkeys are raised on the farm, registered with the American Donkey and Mule Society, and receive current vaccinations and a veterinary physical prior to placement. Each animal is also microchipped.

The ranch has a history of showing its herdsires and brood jennets, and the program reflects a lifetime of ranch experience. Beyond the minis, the property is home to cattle, chickens, and other animals, giving the donkeys a true working-farm environment in the Tennessee highlands.
