About Rygel

Rygel is a very special ball python. He was rescued from a criminal neglect and hoarding situation and, after many months of recovery and rehabilitation at a sanctuary, he found his way here. Rygel is blind in his right eye due to some of the trauma he endured. Currently he is under evaluation for secondary glaucoma in his right eye and cataracts on his left. He was reported as very shy and not a fan of people but has came out of his shell with fanfare. He's incredibly outgoing, curious, and friendly. Rygel is also downright adorable. He is eating f/t small rats every ten days and just passed 1000g!
