About Pine Valley's American Patriot

Pine Valley’s American Patriot, better known as Patriot, is a nationally accomplished multicolor Huacaya alpaca herdsire and a cornerstone of the Elderwood Farms breeding program. His show career includes a Judge’s Choice, National Championships in halter, walking fleece, and fleece, back-to-back AOA National Invited Champion honors, and a 3rd-place finish among Huacaya males in the 2025 AOA National High Point Awards. Across disciplines, Patriot has proven himself with a powerful, balanced phenotype and soft, bright fleece that maintains impressive consistency across his multiple colors.

Patriot also made history at the 2024 AOA National Show as the first multicolor alpaca to win the Best Head Award, topping 17 other competitors. He followed that achievement with Best Head wins at the Mi-Mitten Meltdown in both 2025 and 2026, giving him three Best Head awards across three consecutive years.

His pedigree brings together pinto and Appaloosa genetics with a deep concentration of champion-producing lines. Patriot’s sire, Stagecoach Drulon’s Cowboy, is a 7x blue-ribbon-winning, champion-producing pinto by KVR’s Peruvian Drulon My Fleece and out of Snowmass Royal Rianna, a Top 5% EPD female in 2023. His dam, Asgard-Acres Stars and Stripes, is a 7x blue-ribbon-winning Appaloosa daughter of 7x banner winner AMAF Lucy’s Little Ricky. Additional champions throughout his pedigree add depth well beyond the first generation.

What excites us most now is what Patriot is producing. His first three cria include two pintos and an Appaloosa, showing that the color potential behind his pedigree is carrying forward while maintaining the quality, presence, and phenotype we value at Elderwood Farms.
