About Elderwood's Voodoo Veil

Here she is - Vivi is currently one of only two appaloosa girls out of the exceptional 33x banner winner Irish Meadows' Crescendo! She's cute as a button and should be a cornerstone for spotty production. Not quite as obvious as her sister, this girl does indeed have spots ranging from dime to half-dollar size. It will be interesting to see what she does after her first shearing as she currently has light fawn top line in comparison to the rest of her beige base. Her true strength likely lies within her genetic make-up.

Her sire, Crescendo is the most decorated and highly awarded offspring of the late, great Snowmass Matrix (pictured). Crescendo's Judge's Choice dam, Crescent Moon's Elizario's Princess (pictured), also hails from a long lineage of elite animals. She was the 2017 National Champion and the 2021 National Produce of Dam winner.

Vivi's dam, Elderwood's Voodoo Queen is an outstanding harlequin reigning from spotted lines on both sides of her pedigree. The combination of her appaloosa sire, Golden Touch's Easy Rider, and her harlequin dam, FPC Peruvian Aiko, proved to be a potent combination.

We are tossing around the idea of parting with this girl, which isn't easy. We do however own her half maternal sister and her half paternal sister. This will be the first time we released any of our Rider lines and one of only a handful of our coveted Aiko genetics. Stay tuned!
