Leave the rush of the modern world behind for a while and take to the countryside by horse-drawn carriage at Celtic Valley.

Your private experience lasts roughly one hour, beginning with the chance to meet the horse who will be taking you on your journey before climbing aboard and setting out at an easy, leisurely pace. Along the way, enjoy the changing landscape, the sound of hoofbeats, and the rare pleasure of traveling through the countryside the old-fashioned way.

Our horses are much more than the power behind the carriage. They are individuals, partners, and beloved members of Celtic Valley, and getting to know a little about the horse at the heart of your experience is part of what makes each ride unique.

Each booking reserves the carriage privately for your group, creating a peaceful little journey that feels just a step outside ordinary time.

**A note about group sizes and carriage options:**

We have two Wagonettes: one seating up to 6 passengers and one seating up to 4. For larger groups, both carriages can be taken out together to accommodate up to 10 guests. If you would like to request the additional carriage, please select it as an add-on when booking. An additional charge applies.

For parties of 2, or 2 adults accompanied by a small child or lap child, you may also request one of our smaller fancy carriages: the red-and-black Panel Boot Victoria or our antique white Park Phaeton. If your party meets the passenger requirements and you have a preference, please indicate your choice in the fields below. Otherwise, we will default to one of the Wagonettes.

There is no additional charge for choosing the Victoria or Park Phaeton when your group fits comfortably within their passenger capacity. Carriage preference must be requested in advance so we can have your chosen carriage prepared for your visit.

WEATHER DISCLAIMER
Horse-drawn carriage rides are weather dependent and may be adjusted, delayed, rescheduled, or cancelled if conditions are unsafe or uncomfortable for our horses or guests. This may include excessive heat or cold, thunderstorms, high winds, icy conditions, heavy rain, or other hazardous weather.

Because conditions can change quickly, weather decisions are sometimes made close to the scheduled ride time. Light rain, overcast skies, or other mild weather do not necessarily mean a cancellation if conditions remain safe.

The welfare of our horses always comes first. If Celtic Valley determines that your ride cannot safely take place, we will contact you and work with you to arrange another date, or a refund if necessary.
