Roc Haven Airedales & Roc Haven Boxers

Roc Haven Airedales raises AKC Airedale terriers in Leland, Illinois, a rural stretch of north-central Illinois roughly an hour southwest of Chicago. Christine Vitosh, the breeder behind the program, keeps her dogs as household members on several acres of property — alongside a herd of horses — so puppies grow up in a genuine home setting from day one.

The program centers on health-tested parents and AKC champion bloodlines, with temperament and soundness guiding breeding decisions. Puppies are raised following the Puppy Culture protocol, a structured early-stimulation and socialization curriculum. Roc Haven also offers ear setting and basic puppy training as optional services, and boards Airedales on a regular basis for the local community.

Christine holds memberships in both the Airedale Terrier Club of America and the Airedale Terrier Club of Illinois, and the program has been recognized by the Good Dog organization. Boxer puppies are also available from Roc Haven, making it one of the few Illinois sources for Airedale terrier puppies alongside a second working breed under the same roof.
