Jamcin Ranch

Jamcin Ranch, fainting (myotonic) goats, Washburn, MO, in southwestern Missouri near Springfield. Owner James Huggins has bred these goats for over a decade, holding membership in the American Dairy Goat Association and conducting routine veterinary health screenings and parasite control. Each goat follows a preventive health schedule, including vaccinations against clostridial diseases, regular hoof trims and testing for caprine arthritis encephalitis.

The herd grazes on open pasture and sheltered paddocks where each goat receives daily handling to foster calm behavior. Jamcin Ranch follows low-stress husbandry practices, socializing kids from birth and offering balanced forage diets with mineral supplements.
